I just ordered my first half dozen cloth pads and I'm pretty excited about it. I'm actually looking forward to next months cycle, weirdly enough. I started looking into alternative menstrual products a couple of months ago. I was intrigued by the pads as well as the cup. Okay, I know I saw SOMEWHERE some pads, either for sale or to make, that are entirely all in one, but that unfold to a very thin rectangle. Think flat diaper (or maybe prefold diaper), but pads. Does anyone know who makes a foldable cloth pad?  I know www.tlc-pads.org makes some, and rhythm and blues used to make them but i think they've closed now... I would love to find a cloth pad that has that folding system...

Question:
Which do you prefer, AIOs or Insert-friendly cloth pads?

I can't remember the term for them, but I'm thinking of making the kind of pad with a seperate liner and elastic to hold soakers in place and I could use a little advice. It just seems a bit more practical for me because it seems to take me a minute to get AIOs on or off (probably because I always end up making the pad too thin across or the wings ( Read more... )
